For America

Normally, I am not the most patriotic girl (don't get me wrong, I love America), but I have been itching to try out layered cupcakes. My original thought was to make Neapolitan flavors,  but I figured I would go festive for the upcoming holiday.

Here is how it turned out:

Ingredients for life. 

Added cocoa powder and red food coloring (basically Red Velvet).

The top layer is white cake. 

Success! 

Why don't they sell blue frosting?

Nothing says Independence Day quite like patriotic cupcakes.

And the wrapper looks like fireworks!
